The guitarbecue is an informal, low pressure concert that I host several times a year where my students and colleagues come together to perform for one another in front of a friendly and welcoming crowd.

The older performers are afforded a chance to develop performance skills while young guitarists often give their first performance at this event in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. This guarantees that the young performer's first experience will be a happy and positive one which is very important in their development as persons, and crucial to their development as performers. It also provides a forum for players of all ages and abilities to interact with one another.

The concert is followed by barbecue (using my family's recipes for Texas style BBQ), food, fun and drink. I provide the barbecue and the grill, guests should bring food or drink to share. If you would like to attend, please send me an email for an invitation and directions.
